FERVER joins the ‘carPVB’ or ‘coating with recycled PVB’ project as a partner

This project funded by Belgium and Germany intends to examine the possibility to use recycled PVB as a coating binder in textile applications. 

FERVER and some of its members individually will take part as industrial partner in this research project under the coordination of the following 3 institutions:

  • CENTEXBEL
  • FILK - ForschungInstitut  Leder  und Kunststoffbahnen
  • Hochschule Niederrhein –Textiel und Bekeidingstechnik


FERVER members get increasing quantities of PVB coming from the recycling of laminated glass. Currently, there are too limited outlets for this material. Therefore, FERVER is interested in any initiatives aiming at addressing this issue by finding new interesting applications for recycled PVB.

This two-year project will start on the 1st of January 2018.
